Let’s talk about the weather!
Has the weather forecast ever changed your mind about climbing on a certain day? Don’t let it! Bailey resides in a mountain valley that locals refer to as the “banana belt”. On many afternoons when Denver is experiencing rain showers, or you see that Bailey has rain in the forecast, the actual weather being experienced at Treehouse is sunshine or light, intermittent showers. Rarely does the weather in our area prohibit climbing for long periods of time.
We do close temporarily for lightning or heavy rain. When in doubt, the MORNINGS provide the most dependability for nice weather. Throughout most of the season our first reservation is at 9:00 AM. The mornings are absolutely beautiful in Bailey, and typically calm with minimal breeze. You’ll have a blast any time of the day, but this local tip may be helpful.
